The Tankers Annual 1963
By Jans Rabbers
Here we have a very nice 60’s fanclub magazine that is virtually loaded with interesting and rare candids!
The story of Gary Pepper and his Tankers fanclub is wellknown within the Elvis community. Gary sadly died in 1980. And a few years ago his huge collection of Elvis’ personal belongings, lots of signed documents and records, as well as rare candids/negatives, were auctioned off (HERE!).
The original fanclub-card below courtesy of Seth Kaminsky (USA).

Very interesting. I‘ve never seen this before.
Thanks guys.
Jim.
Fantastic document, full of rare pics !
I’ve never seen that horizontal photo with Dewey showing him a record. This surely must be 1957, judging by Elvis’ looks – probably taken the same day as the one he’s visiting a record store.
The photo with Gene Smith is also very rare.
Also, the photo showing the Graceland secretaries is way cool.
Thanks everybody !
Nice to see these rare photos.
I have the exact same magazine.
Heb deze magazine in mijn bezit en is te koop.
Eveneens met handtekening van Elvis Presley en een memo van Gary Pepper voor de Tankers fans
Is the back of this his real signature or was it printed on all the copies?
