Strictly Elvis No. 5 (September 1968)
By Bob Pakes
Welcome to issue No. 5 of Strictly Elvis!
In this issue, Rocky Barra takes his readers on a heartwarming trip to Tupelo.
Also, be sure to check out the News Of The Month section:
– Satisfy Me is a new song in Live A little, Love A Little.
– A re-recording of Baby, Let’s Play House is being played by DJ’s across the USA.
– My Garden Of Prayer is rumored to be Elvis’ next scared album.
When Speedway was shown during the annual Elvis Convention in Great Britain, “the scene with the biggest impact was when Elvis sings He’s Your Uncle, Not Your Dad“. And how about George Klein hosting the Miss Speedway Contest?
My sincere thanks and utmost respect goes to Rocky Barra.

Advertised inside: the original set of 66 trading cards from 1956 for $ 2.50 !
The choice of photos in this issue is rather mediocre … too many German
postcards, too little rare stuff … Back then I probably thought differently?
Still, it’s a nice sign of the time.
Bring on the next one, Bob!
