Now we are Rockin’ guys!
There is not a lot wrong with RCA Japan..
Look forward to the rest of this topic.
Jim.
Very interesting – First time I’ve seen the 78 backed with Janis Martin. Were some of the international RCA companies unsure of Elvis as a standalone artist in the 1950’s as we have South Africa, Italy and now Japan backing Elvis with other artists. Keep up the great work. I’m really enjoying this site.
All the best
Harry
A collectors dream. To expensive for my budget, so keep them coming and let me dream ;-) Thanks Guys!
Thanks for the comments, guys. We intend to make this the best Japanese
Discography ever presented. More illustrations than ever before seen on any
website/Blog so far. As you will have noticed space is left open next to some
of the labels presented…We hope to find these missing titles, and would
appreciate your help. Bob and me have searched like madmen over the last
6 months to find 78rpm labels. Some are just impossible to find. Even the
great Chris Giles couldn’t help us out. And that says something about the
rareness of these Japanese titles ! If you think you can help, contact us here
at Echoes, please.
In conclusion of this little message, I like to thank Bob for having “cleaned”
all labels and present them in the best possible quality. That involved many
hours of hard work. He’s so painstakingly critical in how to present his work,
I’ve nicknamed him “Mr. Clean”. Thanks, Bob.
Great to see these super rare records here sorted per country.
Keep them coming guys.
On this site you’ll find additional information. Great topic by the way.

Some fantastic shellacs.
Perhaps these Japanese guys don’t speak English??
Perhaps? But they can frikkin’ WRITE in English when they offer merchandise
for sale!
Gee, man, just wish i could win the lottery!!….looking at these beauties are making me go mad, Grrrrrr…..!!!!!
Oh, by the way, congrats to this beautiful site. At last, no jumpsuits!!!
Thanks! Your name, somehow rings a bell with me…?
A rock n roll / Elvis fan from the beginning of time?!?
How did you find us? Thru Trevor’s magazine perhaps?
Well, good to have you here. And I promise you: no
bloody jumpsuits…ever!
Cheers!
Ger, i’m also on the ‘monkey’ forum, that’s prob where you know my name from. I actually caught this site on EMM’s facebook page a while ago. The reason i’ve taken so long to responed is because my laptop is broken, will be getting new one soon, i hope. So at the mo i’m using my mobile to access the internet and its bloody expensive, i top-up £10 within a day and a half have to top-up again. So i’m not using my mobile too much. And of course, these touch screen phones are a-pain-in-the-arse!!
Unfortunately, Ger, i missed the great 50’s era as i was born in ’67. Yes, i’ve been a R ‘n’ R fan since as far back as i can remember.
I’ve heard many great things about ‘Echoes’, i just had to take a peek.
I’ve sent you a few scans, but the quality is not good. Perhaps still useful?
Jummy!
Looks great!
Greetz,
Pieter
Sheer Quality Ger. As always.
Jim
Some nice additions again.
This and all the other site of yours; is the best Elvis record sites I have ever seen.
I love to collect ELVIS records worldwide, just to look at all these amazing different covers from around the world …
Many, many thanks Bjørn Christensen from Denmark.
Dear sir, I have a copy of Mean Woman Blues, the Japanese 78.
Seems you guys say it’s rare, is that so?
I would like to know what you guys think.
Regards. Edd Perry.
